Near Dullstroom Mpumalanga, a beautiful game farm, with an 8 year old Truffle orchard. The first South African “Black Truffles” were found on this farm in August 2014.

The beautiful 396 ha property is ideally situated 4,5 km off the N4 on the road between Machadodorp and Dullstroom. The manor house comprises 2 wings. The first with 2 bedrooms; kitchen; bathroom and living area. The 2nd wing is made up of 6 bedrooms; a large lobby/lounge area; 3 bathrooms; large bar; kitchen and 2 dining areas. It is magnificently appointed with an extended porch area for entertaining, 2 garages; double carport and basement area (currently operating as a launderette). There are various agricultural opportunities. These include 30ha of Eragrostis grass as well as other fallow lands which could be reinstated. A considerable investment has been made by means of a 1,4ha plantation of 500 oak trees impregnated with Black-truffle spore.
3 insulated prefab units stand on the farm which were previously utilised for mushroom farming.
Stocked game includes Zebra; Black Wildebeest; Blesbok; Red Hartebeest; Springbok and Fallow Deer. In addition to these, numerous naturally occurring species can be found including Bushpig; Grey Duiker; Steenbok; Mountain Reedbuck; Bushbuck; Caracal; Serval and Aardwolf to mention but a few.
All game is included, numbers at time of writing this are as follows
Zebra 17, Black Wildebeest 39, Fallow deer > 30 Springbuck +- 26, Blesbuck +- 39
Red Hartebeest 25, and of course all the naturally occurring species are not tallied.
These numbers may change due to Take-off and attrition or natural population growth.
The cottages are being sold furnished as they currently operate,we are at a very good occupancy presently.
The additional linen can also be included.
The main house furnishing is not included, but i will also be open to discussion on most items.
Laundry equipment is not currently included, but once again we can talk.
We can discuss including most farming implements, 2 Tractors, rake 2 slashers, flat bed cutter, hoe, ripper, fertilizer spreader, rake, hammer mill and etc.
The farm has been operating under an old revived company which still carries an assessed loss in excess of 1,5 m and can also be negotiated on.
We feel that the sale price is more than fair as agents have evaluated the property at 14 - 16M but we have decided not to be greedy due to current economic circumstances and will be satisfied to just cash out.

In the beautiful Outeniqua valley in the mountains above George this beautiful piece of land next to the N9 has become available for purchase. 60 hectares of land has been prepared for a future “Truffle Orchard”. The Outeniqua valley has been deemed an ideal region for “Black truffle production by Prof. Alessandra Zambonelli the mycologist from Bologna University in Italy.
The orchard has been deep ripped and all boulders, rocks and trees have been removed, after liming this site will be ready for planting.
